    With DevelopmentPeople, you diversify your sources of candidates because we host a database of 200,000+ professionals inaccessible through your membership. You will also benefit from the guidance and advice of our multilingual recruiters, who have a deep understanding of and broad experience in the development cooperation sector. Last, but not least, it is a matter of work efficiency: you either assign this tedious, lengthy, and time-consuming task in-house, or you externalize the process to us, allowing you the opportunity to focus on more important strategic issues (tender preparations, budget alignments, etc.).
  • Why should I hire a leadership consultancy?

  • Do you offer your services in other languages apart from English?
    Yes, we offer HR consultancy and Recruitment in all major donor languages, including French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic. For recruitment of field positions, we can, at many times, also offer recruitment in local (African) languages.
  • What is the difference between a CV Shortlist, Talent Hire, and Executive Search?
    Each service is designed to meet different recruitment needs. For example, CV Shortlist is relevant when the Customer wishes to have a few additional CVs for consideration. Talent Hire works best when the Customer wants to delegate the entire recruitment process for any role to a third party. DevelopmentPeople will assist you until you announce the hiring decision (this service includes phone screening of the shortlisted candidates and filling in the compliance tables). Executive Search is the best and all-inclusive option for highly specialized roles when the customer delegates the entire recruitment process to DevelopmentPeople. Additionally, as a part of the Executive Search, DevelopmentPeople can assist you with interviews, psychometric testing, reference checks, and collection of working documents.
  • If we choose the Talent Hire and you present us with candidates, but none of the experts is hired for the role, do you reimburse the cost?
    The idea behind a Talent Hire is that we present you with a shortlist of the most relevant, compliant, and available candidates for your consideration. We cannot guarantee their employment. You hold the proprietary rights to the shortlist we provide and can therefore consider and engage those candidates for any other proposals or positions you may have in the pipeline. The payment structure is designed to exclude any risks from your side. You shall pay the non-refundable fee once we have submitted the candidates to you, while the second instalment shall only be made after you decide to proceed with the hiring of any candidate submitted by us.
